    Jennifer Greene Named Communications Coordinator for USA Hockey
    Greene will begin her duties on May 7
    COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Jennifer Greene has been named communications coordinator at USA Hockey it was announced. She will serve as the lead communications contact for USA Hockey’s national sled hockey programs, coaching education program and U.S. select teams while also supporting communications efforts in youth hockey.Greene joins USA Hockey after spending the last two years as a social media coordinator for NBC Sports, where she managed the flagship NBC Sports social media accounts. During her tenure, Greene provided live event coverage for Sunday Night Football, the NHL, the 2018 Olympic Winter Games, Notre Dame football and various other properties.Greene served two years in the University of Connecticut sports information office where she led day-to-day media relations for seven of the university’s Division I athletic programs. Greene joined Connecticut after spending one season with the AHL’s Syracuse Crunch public relations department.A graduate of Syracuse University, Greene earned her bachelor’s degree in broadcast and digital journalism from the Newhouse School of Public Communications.Greene will officially begin her duties on May 7.

    Janet has been covering women's hockey for over 35 years. Along with a 38 year career in Public Relations and over 40 years photographing sports, she found a passion in women's hockey. Her initial story was on the founding of the Niagara University D1 program, she expanded to collegiate and youth and was active in the founding and promoting of the WNY Girls Varsity Ice Hockey Federation. When Professional Women's Hockey hit the ice she was there, one of the first to release the story in WNY. Along with her husband, Randy, people comment that if there's hockey, the Schultz's are there!
