Roc City Defeats Lockport Again In OT, Wins Shootout

Three periods of regulation and an overtime session were not enough to settle matters as Roc City defeated Lockport in a shootout 3-2 (3-1 SO).

The two teams needed five turns to complete the shootout. Lockport’s shootout goal was scored by Kurt Villani. Roc City also got shootout goals from Cameron Clark and Sam Cammilleri.
Roc City’s penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on four Lockport power plays. Roc City kept Lockport’s goalie busy throughout the game, and Tim Schiess made 37 saves on 40 shots.

Roc City was helped by Cammilleri, who tallied one goal. Cammilleri scored 19:55 into the second period to make the score 2-1 Roc City. Brandon Corey picked up the assist. Roc City additionally got points from Corey, who also had one goal and one assist to lead the team in points. More assists for Roc City came via Clark, Anthony DePetres, and Zach Bucholz, who contributed one each.
