California Titans 18U jumped out to a four-point advantage by the end of the first period and beat Lockport Express 18U, 13-1.
California Titans 18U got the win with help from a great game by Dylan Denton, who had two goals and two assists. Denton scored the first of his two goals at 4:27 into the first period to make the score 1-0 California Titans 18U. Dylan Miller picked up the assist. Denton’s next tally made the score 13-1 California Titans 18U with 4:25 left in the third period. California Titans 18U also got points from Bortolotto, who also racked up two goals and two assists, Grant Minakawa, who also tallied one goal and one assist, Kane Toriumi, who also registered two goals and two assists, Connor Chilton, who also had two goals and two assists, and Triston Mends, who also racked up one goal and one assist. California Titans 18U also had goals scored by Jonathon Johnson, Pascal Fleury, and Jarrett Sturtz, who each put in one. In addition, California Titans 18U received assists from Ty Proffitt and Alex Scheiman, who each chipped in one.
Lockport Express 18U found itself stymied offensively, and got off a mere 13 shots against California Titans 18U’s defense. Lockport Express 18U’s penalty killing units received substantial work throughout the game as Lockport Express 18U finished with 34 penalty minutes.
