B-Sens Ink Rumble and Krushelnyski To AHL Contracts

BINGHAMTON, N.Y. – The Binghamton Senators, American Hockey League affiliate of the National Hockey League’s Ottawa Senators, announced that the club has signed defenseman Chris Rumble and forward Alex Krushelnyski to one-year AHL contracts.

Rumble, 26, played last season with the ECHL’s Evansville IceMen registering 39 points (11 goals, 28 assists) and 42 penalty minutes in 65 games played. Prior to his first full professional season, the 6-foot-1, 195-pound defenseman played three seasons of NCAA Men’s Ice Hockey at Canisius College. In 85 games played, Rumble totaled 46 points (14 goals, 32 assists) and 55 penalty minutes. After going undrafted, the Chesapeake, Va.,
native spent one season with the Sioux Falls Stampede of the United States Hockey League and two seasons with the Wenatchee Wild, formally of the North American Hockey League.

Krushelnyski, 25, played the past two seasons with the ECHL’s Utah Grizzlies. In 130 games, he recorded 117 points (42 goals, 75 assists) and 92 penalty minutes. Krushelnyski also registered assists in six AHL games for both the Norfolk Admirals and Hartford Wolf Pack. The Bloomfield Hills, Mich., native spent four years at Colorado College where he scored 101 points (42 goals, 59 assists) in 158 games. Before his collegiate career, the 6-foot-0, 180-pound forward split two seasons in the USHL with the Chicago Steel and Sioux City Musketeers racking up 21 goals and 38 assists in 96 games.
