Home Streak At 10
The Albany Devils are riding a 10-game winning streak on home ice, which is the longest in franchise history and tied for second longest in the AHL this season. Grand Rapids is currently on a 13-game run and Wilkes-Barre/Scranton won 10 consecutive between Oct. 17 and Nov. 28. The Devils last loss at home came on Nov. 21 – a 5-3 setback against the Penguins.

What A Week
Mike Sislo began last week with the New Jersey Devils and played games Monday against Detroit and Wednesday at Montreal. He was named to the 2016 AHL All-Star Classic roster Thursday and had back-to-back three-point performances Friday and Saturday for Albany. On Monday, he was dubbed the CCM/AHL Player of the Week and will be recognized for his accomplishment during the Saturday, Jan. 23 game against St. John’s

Riding High
Despite having their six-game winning streak halted Sunday at Hartford in overtime, the Devils are on a seven-game point streak. After 34 games, the team is 22-8-4-0 and their .706 points percentage ranks third in the AHL, third the Eastern Conference and second in the North Division.

Janet has been covering women's hockey for over 35 years. Along with a 38 year career in Public Relations and over 40 years photographing sports, she found a passion in women's hockey. Her initial story was on the founding of the Niagara University D1 program, she expanded to collegiate and youth and was active in the founding and promoting of the WNY Girls Varsity Ice Hockey Federation. When Professional Women's Hockey hit the ice she was there, one of the first to release the story in WNY. Along with her husband, Randy, people comment that if there's hockey, the Schultz's are there!
