SUNY Potsdam men’s hockey to host 3-on-3 league this spring

POTSDAM, N.Y.—The SUNY Potsdam men’s hockey team will host a
three-on-three hockey league on Saturdays and Sundays from April 5 – June
8.

Players from the ages of six through 15 will compete against other teams
in their own age group. The five age groups are Mite 1 (players born
during 2007 or 2008), Mite 2 (2005-06), Squirt (2003-04), PeeWee (2001-02)
and Bantam (1999-2000). Each team will have a minimum of seven players and
a maximum of 10 with at least one goalie. Coaches are responsible for
supervision and instruction of their own players.

Complete game schedules will be released on March 28. All game times will
be between 9 a.m. and 6 p.m. Teams should expect to play a minimum of 1
game per weekend.

The cost of the league is $100 per player. The $100 includes a $25
discount for those players attending Bears Hockey Camp this summer.

Players can sign up at clear.potsdam.edu or call (315) 267-2167 to pay by
phone with a debit/credit card or complete and return a registration form
to SUNY Potsdam. Players must register by March 24 in order to
participate.
