Hobart extended its lead to 5-1 with two goals in the first two and a half minutes of the third period. Schneider’s sixth goal of the season at the 1:03 mark would prove to be the game winner. Denicourt and senior Jack MaCnee were credited with assists on the goal. Seventy-four seconds later, first-year Aaron Maguyon blocked a shot at his own blue line and raced down the ice to score his first collegiate goal. Junior Zach Sternbach was credited with an assist on the goal.
