Stalteri Commits To Play DIII Hockey at SUNY-Morrisville

The Lockport Express, proud members of the NA3HL, are pleased to announce that goaltender Sal Stalteri has committed to play NCAA Division III hocket at SUNY-Morrisville.

Stalteri, 20, played for the Express in the NA3EHL this past season. The native of Woodbridge, Ontario, posted a 9-9-3 record in 26 apperances in 2015-16. Stalteri (5’10/175) had a 4.06 goals against average and a 89.8% save percentage.

He was named the West Division Star of the Week on January 12, 2016.

“Sal came to our program from the Toronto area off an excellent summer where he earned Tourney MVP twice. He carried that into the season and was a strong leader in the room and on the ice. He is very mature and is a real student of the game. We are extremely proud of his D3 commitment to play in the SUNYAC at SUNY Morrisville and we thank Coach Krogol and his staff for their trust in our program. We wish Sal all the best going forward as he starts a new chapter in his life,” said Lockport General Manager Frank Vecchio.
