(Rochester, NY)… Buffalo Sabres General Manager Darcy Regier today announced the Sabres have signed forward Colin Jacobs to a three-year, entry-level contract.

 
Jacobs (61“, 202 lbs., 1/20/93) finished the 2012-13 season with the Rochester Americans, recording three points (1+2) in 11 American Hockey League games. Prior to joining the Amerks, Jacobs led the Prince George Cougars with 25 goals and 53 points in 66 Western Hockey League games. In 252 career WHL games, Jacobs compiled 142 points (69+73) and 332 penalty minutes.
 
The Coppell, Texas native was selected by the Sabres in the fourth round (107th overall) of the 2011 NHL Entry Draft.
