Ottawa Assigns Four To Binghamton; Three More Placed On Waivers

BINGHAMTON, N.Y. – The Binghamton Senators, American Hockey League affiliate of the National Hockey League’s Ottawa Senators, have been assigned four players to training camp. In addition, three players were placed on waivers for the purpose of assignment to the B-Sens and one player was released from his professional tryout agreement.

Four players were assigned from Ottawa to Binghamton this morning including goaltender Chris Driedger, and forwards Max McCormick, Chad Nehring, and Nick Paul. Forwards Mike Blunden, Buddy Robinson, and defenseman Michael Kostka, will be placed on waivers for assignment to Binghamton.

Defenseman Matt Bartkowski was released from his professional tryout agreement with Ottawa.

Binghamton continues its preseason schedule on Thursday, October 6, as they travel to Buffalo, N.Y. to face the Rochester Americans at 7:05 p.m. The Senators play their only home preseason game at Floyd L. Maines Veterans Memorial Arena on Saturday, October 8, against Rochester at 7:05 p.m.
