CENTERVILLE, Mass. – Oswego State sophomore goaltender Bridget Smith (Hamburg, N.Y.) has been named the ECAC Women’s West Goaltender of the Week for the week ending November 19, 2012 for the second time this season.

Smith registered a .932 save percentage, allowed three goals, and improved to 4-1-1 on the season as she helped Oswego State pick up a sweep over Neumann. In Saturday’s 4-2 win, Smith tallied 19 saves. She backed up that performance with 22 saves in Sunday’s 2-1 overtime win. Smith stopped 11 shots in the third period to allow the Lakers to send the game into overtime.

The Lakers (4-3-1, 4-2-0 ECAC West) returns to action on Tuesday, November 27 hosting Neumann at 7 p.m.
