he National Women’s Hockey League Players’ Association today announced the members of its Board of Directors for the professional league’s third season.
The NWHLPA’s stated mission is to “strive to protect the rights of all players in the NWHL while promoting the growth of professional women’s ice hockey. The NWHLPA seeks democratic involvement of its members so that it may collectively decide its goals and communicate in one unified voice.”

The NWHLPA’s Board of Directors consists of Executive Director Anya Battaglino (Connecticut Whale) and two player representatives from each team. The player representatives for this season are Jillian Dempsey and Marissa Gedman (Boston), Jordyn Burns and Kelsey Neumann (Buffalo), Juana Baribeau and Keira Goin (Connecticut) and Miye D’Oench and Kiira Dosdall (Riveters).
