Robert Kalata netted a hat trick to lead New York over Lockport, 6-1.

Kalata notched his first tally 8:20 into the first period. He then added goals at 19:46 into the first and at 7:26 into the second.
New York’s Stephen Mundinger was a brick wall in net, as he came up with 53 saves and let only one puck past him. Mundinger managed to improve on his goals against average, which stood at 2.44 prior to the game.

Lockport was led by Andrew Logar, who scored the team’s only goal. Logar scored 17:03 into the first period to make the score 2-1 New York. Frank II Vecchio provided the assist.

New York registered two goals on eight power play opportunities. Lockport’s Tim Schiess stopped 22 shots out of the 28 that he faced.
