The Buffalo Jr. Sabres tried to dig themselves out of a two-goal hole, but the Oakville Blades held on for a 6-5 victory.

A goal by Ryan Foss put Oakville up 6-4 in the third period, but Buffalo pulled to within one on Griffin Lunn’s tally 15:10 into the third period.
