HOOKSET, NH…. The 1st annual EJEPL all-star event will take place in Hookset, NH at the Tri-Town Ice Arena Sunday night Jan 20 and Monday morning Jan 21. At this time we want to congratulate the following 16 U All-Stars: (New York Players in bold)

“This should be a great two days of Hockey at it’s best” stated League Commissioner Henry Lazar. “The players and Coaches worked extremely hard to gain this honor” added Lazar.

As the Holidays approach, The Hitmen lead the League with 24 points in the standings with theIsles and Maksymum close behind–percentage wise. In the scoring race, Brandon Altman & DJ Goldstein are tied with 22 points each. Bennett Altman is also right there at 21 points. In the Goalie race, Justin Gray leads the pack with a .966 save percentage for the Isles. The playoffs will be held at Tri-Town Ice Arena Feb 22-24 in the battle for the Dan Esdale Cup.

Janet has been covering women's hockey for over 35 years. Along with a 38 year career in Public Relations and over 40 years photographing sports, she found a passion in women's hockey. Her initial story was on the founding of the Niagara University D1 program, she expanded to collegiate and youth and was active in the founding and promoting of the WNY Girls Varsity Ice Hockey Federation. When Professional Women's Hockey hit the ice she was there, one of the first to release the story in WNY. Along with her husband, Randy, people comment that if there's hockey, the Schultz's are there!
