BUFFALO, NY — The Connecticut Whale defeated the Buffalo Beauts, 7-5 Sunday at HarborCenter. The Beauts outshot the Whale 28-23 for the game.
The Whale jumped out to an early 4-0 lead in the first period and lead after one, 5-1.
The Beauts cut into the lead in the second period, trailing 5-3 after two.
