B. Devils Ink Kennedy To One-Year Deal, Erixon To PTO

BINGHAMTON, NY – The Binghamton Devils announced today that the club has signed forward Tim Kennedy to a one-year American Hockey League contract and defenseman Tim Erixon to a PTO. The announcement was made by Binghamton Devils General Manager, Tom Fitzgerald.

Kennedy, 31, spent last season with the Rochester Americans, where he tallied 29 points (4 goals, 25 assists) in 47 games played. Originally drafted by the Washington Capitals in 2005, the 5-foot-10, 176-pound forward has played in 162 National Hockey League games for four NHL teams.

In 382 American Hockey League games, the Buffalo, New York native has put up 296 points (75 goals, 221 assists) and was also selected to the AHL All-Star team in 2015.

Erixon, 26, spent the 2016-17 season with the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins and recorded 17 points (4 goals, 13 assists) in 54 games played. The defenseman has played in 93 National Hockey League games for the New York Rangers, Columbus Blue Jackets, Chicago Blackhawks, and Toronto Maple Leafs.
