After a big, albeit shortened, weekend against the Jersey Shore Wildcats in which the New York Aviators held true to home ice and snapped the Wildcats 16-game winning streak to start the season, the Aviators hit the road to Western, NY once again looking to extend their season winning streak over the Roc City Royals to six games.

In the Aviators second road trip of the season the Aviators headed to Rochester, NY to take on the Royals and left town with a pair of big wins, 7-2 and 5-3. The two teams faced off again at Aviator Sports and Events Center in Brooklyn, NY and again the Aviators came away with a pair of big wins, 8-1 and 5-4 (OT).

Leading the way in their four wins over the Royals are Aviators forwards Jimmy Warrick and Robert Kalata, who combined for 26 points in four games, including 14 points for Warrick and 12 for Kalata. Stephen Mundinger went 3-0 against the Royals, while Anthony DiGiorgio picked up the Aviators other win of the early series.

The Royals spread out their 10 goals in those first four matchups, but throughout the season they have been led by Anthony DePetres, Sam Cammilleri and Cameron Clark, each with over 20 points, with DePetres leading the way with 37 points in 18 games. In the first four meetings the Aviators held the trio to just 11 points.

While all three Royals goaltenders saw action against the Aviators, Quinton Rose, based on minutes played the Royals third goaltender, had the best performance, stopping 38-of-43 shots in the Royals most recent overtime loss to the Aviators.

The Aviators once again hit the road back to Western New York Nov. 14-15 to face the Roc City Royals. The Aviators are 4-0 against the Royals this season, including 7-2 and 5-3 wins in Rochester back on Sept. 26-27.
