BUFFALO, N.Y.— The Buffalo Sabres today announced the team has hired Anders Forsberg as a European scout.
Forsberg joins the organization after spending the last five seasons as a head coach in the Swedish Hockey League, where he went 103-48-14 with Skellefteå from 2010-11 to 2012-13 before guiding Modo to a 44-50-16 record from 2013-14 to 2014-15.
Prior to his coaching experience in the Swedish Hockey League, Forsberg was a scout for the Ottawa Senators from 2007-08 to 2009-10.
