(Rochester, NY)… The Rochester Americans will go into the holiday break with back-to-back home games on Friday, Dec. 18 versus the Hartford Wolf Pack (7:05 p.m. start) and Saturday, Dec. 19 against the Albany Devils (7:35 p.m. start) at The Blue Cross Arena in the Amerks’ annual 12 Days of Hockey Game.

Both games will feature a visit from Santa Claus, who will be in attendance to pose for photos with fans. The Amerks will also be selling autographed “mystery” Amerks holiday ornaments for $10 apiece in the upper concourse for charity.

On Saturday, the Amerks will continue to help get fans in the holiday spirit throughout the evening by giving away “12 Days of Hockey” prizes. The team will be giving away different prize packages during the game from great partners such as Buckmans Car Wash, The Distillery, Pulse Limos of WNY, Ridgemont Country Club, Taco Bell, TOPS, Wendy’s and Zweigle’s, plus great prizes from the Amerks and Sabres.

The Pregame Happy Hour runs from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Friday and 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. on Saturday in the Upper Atrium Bar and features live music and $2 Molson and Coors Light drafts. The Dean’s List will perform on Friday night and Alyssa Trahan will be Saturday’s performer.
Fans are encouraged to donate new, unwrapped toys in the Pirate Toy Fund donation boxes located in The Blue Cross Arena atrium prior to both games. Any fan that donates a toy will receive a complimentary ticket voucher to the Amerks home game on Wednesday, Jan. 27 against the Syracuse Crunch. The Pirate Toy Fund is raffling off a 1965 Ford Mustang GT Fastback this month to benefit the Fund. Tickets will be available at the Pirate Toy Fund Table at the games on Dec. 18 and 19, with the drawing taking place Dec. 21.
