(Rochester, NY) – The Rochester Americans announced that the team has recalled defenseman Spiro Goulakos from the Elmira Jackals of the ECHL.
Goulakos, 26, has recorded 30 points (7+23) and 99 penalty minutes in 51 games this season with Elmira. He has also appeared in eight games with the Amerks this year. Last season, Goulakos completed his four-year college career at Colgate University, recording 14 points (3+11) and 36 penalty minutes in 26 games while serving as team captain. In four seasons at Colgate, the 6-foot-2, 190-pound native of Montreal, Quebec, registered 71 points (22+49) and 176 penalty minutes in 130 games.
