Amerks Recall Hohmann From Elmira

(Rochester, NY) – The Rochester Americans announced today that the team has recalled forward Cason Hohmann from the Elmira Jackals of the ECHL.

Hohmann, 23, has recorded a team-leading 54 points (18+36) along with 14 penalty minutes in 56 games this season with Elmira and ranks second among all ECHL rookies in scoring.

A native of Arlington, Texas, the 5-foot-9, 175-pound Hohmann completed his four-year college career at Boston University last season, recording 31 points (11+20) and 34 penalty minutes in 41 games. In four seasons at BU, he registered 92 points (32+60) and 62 penalty minutes in 145 games.
