“Amerks All Access” Receives Multiple Awards

(Rochester, NY)… The Rochester Americans video series “Amerks All Access” has earned multiple awards for its episode titled, “The Mind of a Goalie,” including two silver Telly Awards, a Communicator Award of Distinction and both platinum and gold AVA Awards.

Amerks All Access is a video series that takes fans behind the scenes and provides an in-depth look at the Amerks organization by featuring exclusive footage and interviews with players, coaches, fans and community members. The award-winning episode on “The Mind of a Goalie” included in-depth interviews with Rochester’s goaltenders that explored the psyche of hockey’s most challenging position.

The prestigious Telly Awards that this episode took home came in the top silver categories of Online Webisodes, Segments or Promotional Pieces for Sports and Online Video for Sports. The Telly Awards, now in its 36th year, honors the very best film and video productions, groundbreaking online video content and outstanding local, regional and cable TV commercials and programs.

The Amerks video team also received a platinum honor, the top award, in the sports category and gold, the second tier honor, in the editing category in the 2015 AVA Awards, which honor excellence in digital communication.

For the second straight year, Amerks All Access also won a Communicator Award of Distinction in the Content Marketing – Podcast/Vlog category. The Communicator Awards is an annual competition honoring the best in advertising, corporate communications, public relations and identity work for print, video, interactive and audio.
