New York City Native Recalled By Phantoms

Lehigh Valley, PA – The Lehigh Valley Phantoms, proud affiliate of the Philadelphia Flyers, have recalled from loan goaltender Connor Knapp from the Reading Royals of the ECHL. Meanwhile, forward Brandon Alderson has been reassigned from Lehigh Valley to Reading.

A 25-year-old goaltender from York, New York, Knapp is currently in his fourth professional season and has compiled a 4-4 record in nine appearances with the Royals this season to go along with a 3.22 goals-against average and .879 save percentage. In 41 games with Reading a year ago, the 6’5″, 221-pound netminder produced a 24-11-4 overall mark along with a 2.58 goals-against average and .915 save percentage.

A 23-year-old winger from Oakville, Ontario, Alderson is in the midst of his third professional campaign and has amassed four penalty minutes in 10 games with the Phantoms this season. Meanwhile, in two games with Reading, the 6’4″, 202-pound forward has registered a pair of assists.
