Kiara Zanon, Jr., F, Penn State (Fairport, N.Y.)
Penn State junior Kiara Zanon led the CHA in goals with seven, and added three assists throughout the month. On Dec. 4 against Syracuse, the Fairport, N.Y., native registered her first career hat-trick. In three of the four contests for the Nittany Lions, she posted multi-point games. The junior helped in all situations as she notched two goals on the power-play, buried a shorthanded marker, and collected a game-winner. She totaled a +9 rating, four faceoff wins and two blocks, while firing off 24 shots. This is Zanon’s fifth career CHA monthly honor and second of the season.
