ALBANY, N.Y.  – William Dineen, a Lake George, NY native, has bounced back well from injuries that knocked him out of six games this winter.

The first-year forward just earned Driscoll Skating & Skills ECAC Hockey Player of the Week honors after having his finest collegiate weekend. Dineen led the Yale Men’s Ice Hockey Team to a weekend sweep by scoring twice and handing out three assists.

The son of former NHL star Kevin Dineen, William got five of his nine points this season in those contests. He now has five goals in 19 games, which is second-best for the Bulldogs.

Dineen, a 6-foot-2, 195-pound center, came to Yale after playing for the USHL Sioux Falls Stampede.
