SCHENECTADY, N.Y. – The Union College men’s hockey team has added two more television appearances on Time Warner Cable SportsChannel for this season, Union College Director of Athletics Jim McLaughlin announced today.

TWC SportsChannel will broadcast Union’s league home games against Cornell (Jan. 16) and Yale (Feb. 13), with both games starting at 7:08 p.m.  In addition, Union’s Feb. 20game at Colgate will be carried by the cable system.  This marks the eighth season Union has partnered with Time Warner Cable, which has carried 39 games since the 2007-08 campaign. TWC SportsChannel also televised the season opener against American International (Oct. 10).

“We’re delighted to be involved with Time Warner Cable SportsChannel for another season of Dutchmen Hockey,” said McLaughlin.  “We are appreciative of Time Warner Cable’s production value and the great exposure they offer to our fans all over the region.”

Time Warner Cable broadcasts are overseen by Greg Bobbitt, director of programming and production, and producer Chris Cook.  Matt DuBrey (play-by-play) and Dan Fridgen (color analyst) return for their seventh season calling the action. Time Warner Cable is available in HD on channel 323 in Albany, central New York and Rochester and on channel 713 in Buffalo.
