Teams Chelios and Leech Set For All-American Prospects Game Which Includes NY’s Farabee

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – USA Hockey announced today the Team Chelios and Team Leetch rosters for the sixth annual CCM/USAHockey All-American Prospects Game set for Sept. 21 at KeyBank Center, home of the NHL’s Buffalo Sabres and site of the 2018 International Ice Hockey Federation World Junior Championship.

U.S. Hockey Hall of Fame members Chris Chelios (Chicago, Ill.) and Brian Leetch (Corpus Christi, Texas) will each coach a team in the event, which will feature 42 of the top American-born prospects eligible for the 2018 NHL Draft.

APPERT, FOHR TABBED ASSISTANT COACHES
USA Hockey also announced today that Seth Appert (Cottage Grove, Minn.), head coach for USA Hockey’s National Team Development Program Under-18 Team, will serve as an assistant to Chelios, while Nick Fohr (Grand Forks, N.D.), associate coach for USA Hockey’s NTDP Under-18 Team, will serve as Leetch’s assistant coach. Appert, entering his first year as the head coach of the U.S. National Under-18 Team, will serve as an assistant coach at the CCM/USA Hockey All-American Prospects Game for the first time. Fohr, who begins his seventh season with USA Hockey’s NTDP and first as an associate coach, will be an assistant coach at the CCM/USA Hockey ALl-American Prospects Game for the fourth time after fulfilling the role at the 2012, 2014 and 2016 events.
