BUFFALO, N.Y. – The Syracuse women’s hockey team fell to top-seeded Robert Morris, 2-0, in the College Hockey America championship game at the HARBORCENTER.

The Orange conclude the season with a 16-13-5 record and a 14-4-2 conference record.

Robert Morris (24-4-6, 15-3-2) struck first in the opening frame and added another goal on the power play in the second period.

Syracuse had several chances, their best coming in the third period when Brooke Avery had only the goaltender to beat after losing a defenseman in a breakaway. Her shot hit the right post and clanged out to a Robert Morris player.

Allie Munroe and Megan Quinn were named to the CHA All-Tournament Team for their performances. They each scored a goal in Friday’s 4-0 win against RIT. Munroe had four blocks between the two games and Quinn had two.

Overall, Syracuse outshot Robert Morris 32-23 in the game.
