The Syracuse Stampede of the NA3HL will begin play on Saturday September 17th in Biddeford Maine VS the Maine Wild at 7:30pm. The Stampede will enter the 2016-2017 season focused on a successful season both on and off the ice. The team has concluded training camp and has begun to prepare for this weekends two game set in Maine before returning for a three game home opening weekend VS Roc-City on the 23rd then the Stamp will host the North East Generals on the 24th and 25th at the Ice-Plex on the campus of Morrisville State College.

The Stamp has several potential college players with them this season and should get plenty of attention from several NCAA and ACHA programs over the course of the season. The Stampede recently named their captains for the 2016-2017 season in Hunter Soden the 1996 player that returns from last seasons squad and Oscar Lande who was recently brought over from Sweden where he had been the captain of his team, Flemingsbergs IK J-20 last season. “I think both guy’s fit what we were looking for as leaders. Hunt is a great guy in the locker room and leads by example day in and day out. He gives you what you ask of him on a daily basis. Oscar is a natural leader that has experience at a high level of play and has the skills and work ethic to back it up.” states coach Beavis on the pair. The Stampede will play a 44 game schedule this season as well as attend the NA3HL showcase in Blaine, MN. In December.

The Stampede would love to build a great fan base this season at the Ice-Plex in Morrisville, we would like to invite you all to stop in and check out the action this season.
