Senior goaltender Kirsten Shaughnessy (Le Center, Minn./LeSueur-Henderson St. Peter) posted a 30-save shutout to help the Valiants remain undefeated in conference play followingSaturday’s 2-0 victory over previously undefeated UMass Boston. After being eliminated from last year’s playoffs by the Beacons, and with UMass Boston sitting at the top of the ECAC East, the Valiants had plenty of motivation heading into the game.
