BUFFALO, N.Y. (February 2, 2016) — The Buffalo Sabres today announced the team will host the Unyts Blood Drive on Monday, Feb. 8 at First Niagara Center from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Presenting donors are welcome to walk in or make an appointment for a prearranged time.
They’ll receive a Buffalo Sabres autographed mini hockey stick and will have an opportunity to watch the Sabres’ morning practice in the First Niagara Center seats. Donors will also have a chance to meet Sabretooth and members of the Buffalo Sabres Alumni Association throughout the event.
Free parking will be available in the First Niagara Center ramp. “The more blood donated through Unyts, the better equipped we are to supply our hospitals with a safe, high quality, locally donated product that helps save lives in Western New York,” said Mark J. Simon, President and CEO of Unyts.
“We are honored to call the Buffalo Sabres a partner in furthering the Gift of Life, and we look forward to working with them on Feb. 8.”
