HAMILTON (October 7, 2026) – PWHL Hamilton have announced its training camp roster in preparation for the 2026-27 Professional Women’s Hockey League (PWHL) season with 31 players who will hit the ice at Morgan Firestone Arena. PWHL training camps open on Wednesday, Nov. 18, following the completion of the 2026 IIHF Women’s World Championship taking place in Denmark from Nov. 6-16.
“We’re really looking forward to bringing this group together for the first time and getting to work at training camp,” said Meghan Duggan, PWHL Hamilton General Manager. “This is an important first step in establishing who we want to be as a team, and we expect a highly competitive environment. Every player has the opportunity to earn a role and demonstrate how they can contribute to our group. We’ll be looking closely at compete level, habits and consistency, while beginning to establish our standards, culture and identity on the ice. Ultimately, training camp will give us the opportunity to make thoughtful, informed decisions as we build our inaugural roster.”
The camp roster consists of 17 forwards, 10 defenders, and 4 goaltenders, and includes 16 players who are already signed for the upcoming season, while 15 members of the group competed in the PWHL during the 2025-26 season.
