| POTSDAM, N.Y.-SUNY Potsdam freshman men’s hockey player Connor Green (Newport Richey, Fla./Tampa Bay Juniors) has been named the PrestoSports SUNYAC Rookie of the Week for his play last weekend. Green made his first collegiate start a big one. The goaltender stopped all 20 shots to earn his first career win and shutout and help the Bears to their first victory of the season on Saturday night. The 1-0 win over Fredonia was just Green’s second collegiate appearance. Potsdam looks to build some momentum this weekend as they head to Plattsburgh State on Friday and then host No. 5 Hobart College on Saturday. Both games start at 7 p.m. |
