Ottawa Assigns Lazar To Binghamton

BINGHAMTON, N.Y. – The Ottawa Senators have reduced their training camp roster by assigning forward Curtis Lazar to the Binghamton Senators.

Lazar was Ottawa’s first-round selection and 17th overall in the 2013 NHL Draft. The 21-year-old has played 143 games for the Senators, recording 12 goals and 23 assists in two seasons. Prior to joining Ottawa, Lazar scored 99 goals and 70 assists in 199 games with the Western Hockey League’s Edmonton Oil Kings.

Binghamton hosts the Hershey Bears in its home opener this Saturday, October 15, at 7:05 p.m. inside Floyd L. Maines Veterans Memorial Arena.
