NWHL To Ring Nasdaq Stock Market Opening Bell Monday

BROOKLYN The National Women’s Hockey League is proud to announce that a group of more than two dozen players, leaders and partners will participate in the ringing of the Nasdaq Stock Market Opening Bell on Monday, December 23, signifying the start of the day’s trading session.

The Opening Bell will be rung by NWHL Founder and Commissioner Dani Rylan, Deputy Commissioner Michelle Picard, NWHL Players’ Association Executive Director Anya Packer, Boston Pride President Hayley Moore, and players Kaycie Anderson of the Connecticut Whale and Kendall Cornine of the Metropolitan Riveters. They will be joined at the podium by more than twenty other essential figures in the league, including general managers Bray Ketchum and Kate Whitman Annis, players Hanna Beattie, Dana DeMartino, and Madison Packer, and additional players, coaches, trainers, partners and broadcasters. Prior to the bell- ringing, Rylan will deliver opening remarks at 9:15 a.m.

“This is a significant milestone for the NWHL, and we are honored to ring the Opening Bell at Nasdaq in celebration of the incredible efforts of everyone who has played a role in our first five seasons,” said Rylan.
