DANBURY, Conn. – The ECAC Women’s West has announced its 2016-17 All-Academic Team, recognizing nine Oswego State women’s ice hockey student-athletes. Alexa Aramburu, Alyssa Brockmann, Mikaela Ditonto, Olivia Ellis, Sarah Grupp, Ashley Lyman, Andrea Noss, Laura Thacker and Erika Truschke were all honored by the conference for their achievements in the classroom.

A total of 126 student-athletes earned the recognition that requires student-athletes to carry a cumulative grade-point average of 3.0 or higher, and have completed at least one full year at their current institution.
Oswego closed the season with a 16-8-2 mark overall and its 10-6-2 record in league action was good for a postseason berth. It was the sixth-straight season the Lakers had reached the playoffs.
