HOW IT HAPPENED
Brockport controlled the play in the first period, outshooting the Bengals 15-5, but the best chance of the period belonged to Buffalo State, but Nieminen was unable to convert on a penalty shot.
Buffalo State dominated the start of the second period, generating the first 10 shots of the frame and Wood opened the scoring with a long snap shot off the post and in.

Nieminen fired a shot off the post early in the frame, but Brockport regained the lead just five minutes into the period.
With the Buffalo State net empty in the final minute, Nieminen finally came due, slinging a point shot to the back of the net to even the score with his second of the season with just 24 seconds remaining.
