 Buffalo Jr. Sabres defeat the Georgetown Raiders in the 3rd Annual Teddy Bear Toss game by a score of 8-5.  Buffalo continues their win streak after having a rough November with their third win in a row.  The Teddy Bear Toss goal was scored early in the first period by Josh Gabriel.
The first period started out with a goal by Georgetown, but Josh Gabriel of Buffalo had theTeddy Bears flying shortly after assisted by Max Mikowski and Mason Evans.  Buffalo continued to rally after the Gabriel goal as Dennis Gilbert scored two in a row with Dylan Howatt assisting on both of the goals.  Buffalo goalie Brandon Mueller stopped six of the seven shots in the first as Buffalo had 18 shots of their own.
The second period saw a different Georgetown team as they rally back scoring two goals to tie the game at three.  Buffalo’s leading scorer Pat Egan added his 21st of the season on the power play assisted by Nolan Sheeran and Jason Heerdt. Shots on goal were equal in the second period where each team added nine shots on goal.
In the third period, Buffalo started out quick with a breakaway goal by Max Mikowski assisted by Nico Gonzalez and Dylan Howatt.  Georgetown made it a game with two goals of their own putting Buffalo on the ropes.  That was short lived as Michael Ederer scored followed by another quick goal by Darren McCormick.  Nolan Sheeran of Buffalo added an empty net goal to make the final 8-5.
Buffalo’s next home game is Sunday December 15, in Rochester’s outdoor game vs St. Michaels Buzzers.  Goalie Brandon Mueller gets the win saving 17 of the 22 shots he faced.
