Dylan Plsek was all over the ice for Jersey Shore, as he tallied one goal and two assists in Jersey Shore’s 9-2 win over Lockport.

Plsek beat Sal Stalteri with a shot 16:36 into the first period to make the score 2-0 Jersey Shore. Jared Karas assisted on the tally. Plsek dished an assist on Bogdan Khvatov’s goal that made the score 5-2 Jersey Shore at 6:27 into the third period. He added another helper on Karas’ goal that made the score 9-2 Jersey Shore at 14:53 into the third period.
Jersey Shore’s penalty kill excelled, as Jersey Shore gave up zero goals despite allowing 11 power plays.

Jersey Shore racked up the penalties in the contest, and ended with 13 minors and one major for 51 minutes in penalty time. Jersey Shore had been averaging 29.0 minutes in penalties per game. Jersey Shore stifled Lockport’s power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. Jersey Shore forced Lockport goalie Stalteri to work between the pipes, taking 55 shots. Team’s forwards weren’t the only contributers offensively, and the team’s defensemen showcased their scoring touch with two goals.

Jersey Shore also got points from Karas, who also tallied one goal and two assists, Travis Valvo, who also racked up one goal and one assist, Frederic Ampleman, who also had one goal and one assist, and Freddie Schaljo, who also registered one goal and one assist. Others who scored for Jersey Shore included Alexander Tan and Marcus McCall, who each put in one. Other players who recorded assists for Jersey Shore were Scott Hansen, who had four and Christian Cooley, JaColbie McGowan, and Tyler Goclan, who each chipped in one.

Lockport’s penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on seven Jersey Shore power plays. Lockport’s offense operated below its season average. Lockport averages 4.8 goals per game.

Lockport was helped by Nicholas Wilcox, who grabbed one goal. Wilcox scored 16:58 into the second period to make the score 3-2 Jersey Shore. Frank II Vecchio provided the assist. Kurt Villani also scored for Lockport. In addition, Lockport received assists from Anthony Tomassi, Ryan Logar, and Dylan Jenkins, who contributed one each.

Scott Albertoni rejected 27 shots on goal for Jersey Shore. Jersey Shore ran into serious disciplinary problems during the contest, and Goclan was ejected from the game. Stalteri recorded 46 saves for Lockport. Lockport incurred 20 minutes in penalty time with 10 minors.
