Iroquois JV ended their losing streak in a fine fashion Sunday night
defeating the always strong, Hamburg Bulldogs 3-1. Playing with a full team
the Junior Chiefs finally displayed their true potential. Creating a strong
forecheck and maintaining composure were the keys to this victory. Leading
the way defensively was Dylan Giancarlo and newcomer Mike Mueller. Also
contributing in the defensive zone was forward center Jake Virchau, who
played smart positional hockey throughout the game. Offensively, goals were
scored by a pair of freshman standouts Colton Czajka (two) and Luke Pukalo.
Making some tough saves down the stretch was goalie Andrew Zelak. The JV
Chiefs look to continue their winning ways on next Sunday 12/13 at 5:45pm at
Leisure rinks against northtowns rival LewPort.
