UTICA, NY- Freshman Olivia Hirschy (Fort Wayne, IN/Culver Academies) of the Utica College women’s hockey team was named the ECAC West Rookie of the Week, Monday.
Hirschy tallied two assists in Utica’s 9-0 win over Lebanon Valley on Sunday. On the season, she has three goals and three assists. The Pioneers are 4-0 so far when Hirschy records at least one point.
Utica (6-4) will have nearly a month off for the winter break before traveling to SUNY Canton on Tuesday, Jan. 10. Game time is scheduled for 7 p.m.
