Clinton, N.Y. – Sophomore goaltender Sydney Belinskas (Port Orange, Fla.) turned away 33 shots, as the visiting Trinity College Bantams tied the Hamilton College Continentals, 0-0, in New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) women’s ice hockey action this afternoon at Russell Sage Rink. Trinity, which won the opening game of its two-game road series with Hamilton, 3-2, last night, moves to 6-7-1 overall and 0-6-1 in the NESCAC while extending its unbeaten streak to three games. The Continentals are now 7-4-2 overall and 2-2-2 in the NESCAC.

Belinskas made 16 of saves in a second period that saw the home team double up Trinity with a 16-to-8 advantage in shots on goal. The teams combined to go 0-for-4 on power plays and each squad had a chance with the extra skater in the third period to no avail. Both Belinskas and Hamilton goalie Sam Walther made three saves in overtime. Walther finished with 29 overall.
