Lockport gutted out a close 4-2 win against New York.

Neither team gained more than a two-goal lead, and Ryan Logar’s goal in the third period proved to be the difference maker.

Lockport was led by Logar, who registered one goal. Logar scored 1:18 into the third period to make the score 3-2 Lockport. Christopher Gasiewicz provided the assist.

Lockport’s offense rang up 56 shots on New York’s net.

Lockport also had goals scored by Justin Andriaccio, Jordan Pocobello, and Kurt Villani, who scored one goal each. In addition, Lockport received assists from John Gannon and Andrew Logar, who contributed one each.

New York’s penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on four Lockport power plays. New York could not produce up to its normal offensive output.
