PRINCETON, NJ – The Princeton Tigers shutout the Union College Dutchwomen this afternoon in Hobey Baker Memorial Rink, 3-0.

The Tigers out shot the Dutchwomen just 32-31. Princeton got started early on, netting the puck past Coco Francis less than two minutes into play. Despite the early deficit, Union controlled momentum for a large part of the first period, out shooting the Tigers 17-10.

Union was strong on defense, killing all three of Princeton’s power play opportunities.

However, Princeton’s Amanda Harris and Sylvie Wallin would notch goals of their own in the second period to ultimately solidify Union’s defeat.

The Dutchwomen will take a two week break and return to action on Friday, Nov. 24 at 6 p.m. against UMaine.
