HAMILTON – Colgate Men’s Ice Hockey Head Coach Don Vaughan announced Monday that Adam Dauda has enrolled in Colgate University for the spring semester and will join the team immediately.

Dauda deferred his enrollment in Colgate for medical reasons in the fall. He has been cleared by university medical personal for all hockey-related activities and is eligible to compete for the Raiders when they return to action Tuesday against Brown in the Sheraton/TD Bank Catamount Classic in Burlington, Vt.

A native of Kitchener, Ont., Dauda begins progress towards his undergraduate degree when classes for the spring semester commence on Jan. 18.

“I am extremely excited to return to Colgate,” Dauda said. “It’s almost the exact opposite feeling of coming in August when I was nervous and scared as to what would happen because I was hurt and I didn’t really know what was wrong. Now I am feeling good and I don’t think I could be any more thrilled to arrive. I have been working hard the past couple months to get in ever better shape than I was last season. Hopefully I can make an impact as soon as I come into Colgate.”
