HAMILTON – Senior forward Tyson Spink was named All-ECAC Hockey Third Team, league officials announced on Friday.

The honor marks the second straight season that Spink has been recognized. He was also named All-League Third Team during the 2014-15 campaign.

A native of Williamstown, Ont., Spink appeared in all 22 conference games for the Raiders this season, compiling a team-best eight goals and eight assists for 16 points. He also contributed 19 points (5g,14a) during the Raiders’ 12 non-conference games to finish the regular season with a team-best 35 points. Spink ranked in the top 10 of the ECAC in points, goals and assists during the regular season, highlighted by a tie for fourth place in points.

Spink matched his career high with four points on three occasions. He established a personal best with four assists at Mercyhurst on Oct. 4 and matched that total at Maine on Jan. 9. He also tallied two goals and two assists in a non-league matchup with Brown on Dec. 29 on his way to earning All-Tournament Team honors at the Catamount Classic.

Spink was named a candidate for both the Hobey Baker and Senior CLASS awards during the regular season.
