DANBURY, Conn. – ECAC men’s and women’s All-Academic teams were announced on Wednesday afternoon. Twenty-two men’s student-athletes and 16 women’s student-athletes were named to the 2025-26 ECAC Hockey All-Academic Team.
Of the 314 men’s honorees, Andrew Takacs was the only student-athlete to earn his fifth consecutive honor. Individuals previously named to the team are designated with an asterisk (*), signifying the number of years previously honored.
Players are eligible for the All-Academic team if they earn a cumulative grade point average of at least a 3.00 on a 4.00 scale, or have a GPA of 3.00 or more the past three semesters. Additionally, Avery Pickering and Luke Malbouef (bolded) were named to the Commissioner’s List, showcasing each program’s top scholar from the 2024-25 season.
