NEW HAVEN, Conn. – Rookie defensemen Ken Citron recorded his first collegiate tally in Colgate’s 3-1 setback to No. 10/11 Yale Saturday at Ingalls Arena.

Ryan Obuchowski gave the Bulldogs a 1-0 lead just 2:14 into the contest as his shot from the slot found its way through traffic and into the back of the net for his second goal of the season.

Yale expanded its advantage to 3-0 with a pair of goals just 1:57 apart midway through the second. John Hayden started the sequence, tapping home a goalmouth feed with 8:23 gone in the middle frame for his third goal of the campaign.

Charlie Curti made it a 3-0 contest at the 10:20 mark with a power play tally for his first collegiate marker.

Citron got Colgate on the board with less than three minutes remaining in the third, scoring at the 17:19 mark of the final frame to spoil Yale goalkeeper Alex Lyon’s bid for a second consecutive shutout.

Charlie Finn got the start in goal for the Raiders and finished with 37 saves. Lyon turned aside 19 shots between the pipes for Yale.
