Twelve games into the season and Clarkson has opened the scoring in each game. Kevin Charyszyn (Jamison, PA) began the Knights’ offensive roll against Brown, connecting just 44 seconds in. Egle found Charyszyn streaking down the right wing unnoticed with a pass from the left corner to the bottom of the circle where the sophomore knocked in his third goal of the season. Junior Nico Sturm (Augsburg, Germany) also assisted.

At 14:41, senior Marly Quince (Sioux Lookout, ONT) fired in a shot from the top of the circles for his second goal of the season. Egle and junior defenseman Jordan Schneider (Toronto, ONT) assisted.

Brown got on the scoreboard early in the middle frame on a goal by Joachim Weberg at 2:32, but the Knights struck again midway through the period to regain the two-goal margin.

Senior defenseman Aaron Thow (Toronto, ONT) jumped into a 2-on-1 rush and finished off a pass by Egle at 11:21 for his second goal in as many games. Sophomore blueliner Connor McCarthy (LaSalle, QUE) started the rush with a pass to Egle at center ice.

Clarkson added two more goals over the final 20 minutes to seal the win, improving its home record to 6-0.

McCarthy popped in a power-play shot from the top of the slot at 9:10 for his second goal of the season. Sophomore Jack Jacome (Caledon, ONT) and junior Devin Brosseau (St. Lambert, QUE) assisted.

Freshman Nick Campoli (Toronto, ONT), who tallied his first career goal last Saturday in the win over St. Lawrence, followed up with the Knights’ fifth goal, scoring at 17:53. Classmate Adam Tisdale (Cochrane, ALB) assisted.

Both teams had 28 shots on net.
